Overview

Salary Range: RM6,000 – RM8,000 (negotiable based on experience)

Responsible for aligning HR functions with business goals, managing employee relations, and ensuring effective HR operations, policies, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy & Planning

  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Support workforce planning and organizational structure
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and KPIs

2. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws
  • Communicate policies clearly to employees

3. Employee Engagement

  • Drive initiatives to improve workplace culture
  • Conduct feedback sessions and employee surveys
  • Address concerns and improve retention

4. Employee Relations

  • Act as a bridge between management and staff
  • Handle conflicts, grievances, and sensitive issues
  • Communicate management decisions effectively

5. Talent Management

  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Manage performance appraisals and KPIs
  • Identify training and development needs

6. Performance Management

  • Improve performance evaluation systems
  • Support managers in team performance tracking
  • Address underperformance with structured plans

7. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations
  • Manage disciplinary processes and documentation
  • Minimize HR-related risks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4–8 years of HR experience (with managerial exposure preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance
  • Experience in employee relations, policy development, and HR strategy

Additional Info:

Location: Kuching

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, standard office hours
